What is Jintu?

Beijing Jintu Interactive Advertising Co., Ltd. is a digital marketing and advertising company, specializing in various domains including social media management, digital advertising, and influencer marketing. Jintu provides tailored solutions to enhance client visibility across multiple platforms, having strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Baidu and Weibo. These collaborations enable Jintu to offer expertise in search engine advertising and fan engagement, driving significant value for their clients.

Jintu's marketing strategy also extends to popular digital platforms like Douyin, where the company engages in e-commerce and digital commerce collaborations. Their successful campaigns frequently involve collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Opinion Consumers (KOCs) to amplify brand messaging and boost engagement.

My Internship Experience at Jintu

During the summer, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to intern at this company. As someone with an interest in emerging technologies, I specifically focused my research on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in digital marketing. To my surprise, Jintu was also shifting its direction toward AI-generated content (AIGC) and actively experimenting with AI tools such as MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway, ChatGPT, and Baidu's WenXinYiYan AI.

My responsibilities during the internship included conducting research on successful use cases of AI-generated content, particularly from large enterprises in China. I completed two formal reports—one in Chinese for internal distribution within the company and another in Korean. These reports, titled "AIGC Advertisement Research _ 2024.6.5" and "AI Contents 2," detailed my findings and provided insights into how AI-generated content is reshaping the advertising landscape.

Another significant project involved compiling a comprehensive list of social media accounts across platforms like Douyin, WeChat Media, and XiaoHongShu that exclusively operate using AI-generated content. These accounts create videos using AI tools to gain followers and generate revenue. My research aimed to highlight emerging trends in the industry and demonstrate how AI could help Jintu reduce costs while producing highly engaging marketing content.

Overcoming Challenges and Learning Valuable Lessons

One of the key challenges I faced during the internship was making mistakes in my initial report. I attached the document titled "AI Contents" to illustrate my errors. Initially, I feared the CEO or my colleagues might reprimand me for these mistakes. However, I was able to revise and produce a more thoughtful and accurate report.

Through this experience, I learned valuable lessons beyond AI and digital marketing. I developed crucial skills in asking the right questions, following up effectively, and communicating clearly with others. These lessons will undoubtedly benefit me in future professional endeavors.
